Photos Planned Around the Job They Have to Do

Commercial, real estate, vacation rental, product and portrait photography. We plan every shot around where it will run and what it has to get someone to do.

Most business photos never earn their keep

Here's the usual story. A business books a photographer, gets a folder of nice pictures, and then tries to make them work. The website hero needs a wide shot with room for a headline. There isn't one. The ad needs a square crop with the product centered. Nope. The listing needs the kitchen shot first. It's buried at photo fourteen. So the photos sit in a drive and the team goes back to stock images and phone snapshots.

The photographer's eye is rarely the issue. Usually nobody decided what the photos were for before the camera came out. A listing photo, an Amazon main image, a team headshot and a homepage banner each have different rules and a different job. Treat them all the same and you end up with pictures that look fine and do nothing. Worse, buyers can spot a stock photo instantly, which makes you look like everyone else right when you're asking for trust.

We plan the shoot backwards from where the photos will live

We're a marketing agency first, so we start with the page, the ad, the listing or the marketplace, then work back to a shot list. That's why we split photography into clear services: commercial shoots for brand and ad imagery, real estate and architectural photography, Airbnb and vacation rental photos built to book nights, product photos that meet marketplace specs, portraits and headshots, special projects for campaigns and productions, and photography courses for people and teams who want to shoot better themselves. Each one has its own rules, and we follow them.

01

Shot list tied to placements

Every shot is linked to a real use: homepage hero, listing cover, Amazon main image, LinkedIn profile. If it doesn't have a home, we question whether it belongs.

02

Platform rules built in

Marketplaces, listing services and rental platforms each have photo requirements. We check the current ones before the shoot so nothing gets rejected or flagged later.

03

Honest edits

We correct color, light and lens distortion and clean up distractions. We don't add features that aren't there or hide things a buyer or guest will notice on arrival.

04

Delivered ready to use

Files come sized, named and ordered by use, so your agent, web person or ad manager can drop them in without another round of editing.

FAQ

Questions we get a lot

Which type of photography do I need?

Start with where the photos will run. Website, ads and brand content point to commercial photography. A home for sale points to real estate, a rental to our Airbnb service, an online store to product photography, and people to portraits. If you need a mix, we can often cover it in one planned shoot.

Do I own the photos?

You get commercial usage rights to use the photos in your own marketing: your website, social, ads, print and listings. If you have another use in mind, like licensing images to a third party, tell us up front and we'll spell out the terms in writing.

Can you shoot several types of photos in one session?

Yes, and it's often the smartest use of a shoot day. We can cover team headshots, product shots and a few brand scenes in one visit if we plan the order and setups ahead of time.

How soon will I get my photos?

It depends on the shoot. Listing photos are usually turned around quickly so you can hit your launch date, while larger brand shoots take longer because there are more images to edit. We give you a delivery date before the shoot, and we stick to it.
