Airbnb & Rental Photos by Mayab MediaPhotography

Guests book with their eyes, and your photos are the whole pitch

A guest can't walk through your rental before they pay for it. The photos are the tour. They're comparing your listing against every other place in the search results, often on a phone, often fast. If your cover photo is a dim bedroom, or the hot tub shows up in photo twenty-two, or they can't tell how many people the space really sleeps, they'll book the place that made it obvious.

There's a second trap. Some hosts try to fix weak photos with heavy editing: wide-angle tricks that make rooms look huge, bright filters, a view that's mostly someone else's yard. That might get the booking, but it often gets the bad review too. Guests who feel misled say so, and reviews are hard to undo. On short-term rentals, accurate photos protect your rating, and your rating drives future bookings.

We shoot for the click, the booking and the five-star review

We treat your photo set like a sales sequence. The cover image has to win the search result. The next few have to answer the big questions: what's the main space like, where do I sleep, what makes this place special. The rest should cover every room and amenity so there are no surprises at check-in. We shoot honestly, edit for clean light and true color, and follow the photo guidelines of the platforms you list on.

01

A cover photo built to win the scroll

We plan the lead image around your strongest selling point, whether that's the living room, a view, a hot tub or a standout design detail.

02

A photo order that tells the story

We deliver a suggested sequence: hero shot, main living space, kitchen, bedrooms in order, bathrooms, then amenities and outdoor areas. Guests can follow the stay in their head.

03

Every amenity shown clearly

Parking, workspace, washer and dryer, coffee setup, crib, grill, game room. If you list it, we photograph it so guests trust the amenity list.

04

Accurate, rule-friendly edits

No fake views, no stretched rooms, no hiding wear guests will notice. We follow Airbnb and other platform guidelines that photos accurately represent the space.

FAQ

Questions we get a lot

What order should Airbnb photos be in?

Lead with your single best image, then the main living space, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms, then amenities and outdoor areas. That mirrors how guests evaluate a stay. We deliver the files numbered in a suggested order, and you can rearrange them in the listing any time.

Can you make the space look bigger?

We use wide enough angles to show how rooms connect, but we avoid extreme distortion that makes a bedroom look twice its size. Guests compare the photos to the real room at check-in. Accurate photos protect your reviews, and reviews drive future bookings.

Do you follow Airbnb's photo rules?

Yes. Airbnb expects listing photos to accurately represent the space, so we don't add fake views, remove permanent features or show amenities that aren't available. If you also list on Vrbo or your own site, we'll size and deliver files for those too.

How should I prepare the rental for the shoot?

Have it cleaned and set up exactly as a guest would find it at check-in, with fresh linens and towels. Remove personal items, cleaning supplies and clutter. Turn on all lights. Add a few simple touches like a coffee setup or fresh fruit. We send a full checklist when you book.
