Ecommerce SEO
Sell more through organic search
If every sale depends on ad spend, your margins are at the mercy of the auction. We build organic traffic to your Shopify or WooCommerce store from collection pages, products and content.
Store platforms create SEO problems by default
Shopify and WooCommerce make it easy to launch a store. They also create SEO issues out of the box. Duplicate product URLs from collection paths. Filter and sort parameters that spin up thousands of thin pages. Out-of-stock products that turn into dead ends. Manufacturer descriptions copied word for word across hundreds of competitors.
Then there's the collection page, which is often the best page to rank for category searches. On most stores it's a grid of products with no copy, no structure and a generic title.
The result is a store that ranks for its own brand name and not much else, and relies on paid ads for almost everything.
Fix the structure, then build category demand
We start by cleaning up the technical issues that ecommerce platforms create, so Google spends its time on pages that can actually sell. Then we focus on the collection and category pages that match how shoppers search.
Product pages get attention where the volume justifies it, and supporting content like buying guides and comparisons brings in shoppers who haven't picked a product yet.
Platform-specific cleanup
We handle duplicate URLs, filtered collection URLs, pagination and canonicals the way your platform needs, not with generic advice.
Collection pages that rank
We map category keywords to collections and add useful copy, structure and internal links without pushing products below the fold.
Product page signals
We improve titles, descriptions and product schema with price, availability and reviews so listings stand out in search.
Content that sells
Buying guides, comparisons and how-to articles catch shoppers earlier and link straight into the right collections.

Questions we get a lot
Is Shopify bad for SEO?
No, but it has quirks. It creates duplicate product URLs through collection paths and limits some URL structure choices. Most of these can be managed with theme edits and good internal linking. We know where the limits are and how to work within them.
Should we write unique descriptions for every product?
Not always. For large catalogs we prioritize products and collections with real search demand and margin, and use templates or improved structured data for the long tail. Rewriting thousands of descriptions rarely pays off evenly.
What should we do with out-of-stock products?
It depends on whether they're coming back. Temporarily unavailable products usually stay live with clear messaging and alternatives. Discontinued products with links or traffic should redirect to the closest relevant product or collection.
Can you help us move from WooCommerce to Shopify, or the reverse?
Yes. Migrations are where stores lose the most organic traffic. We map every old URL to its new home, check the new store before launch, and monitor indexing and revenue closely afterward.
